For collision & body shops
Don’t Undo the Repair on the Lift
Your techs just spent hours on body work, primer and paint. The last place that work should get damaged is on your own lift, when a door swings open into a bare steel column. Protecht Hoist Pads put a layer of high-density foam between the finished panel and the hoist.

Protecting just-finished paint and panels
- High-density foam with an oil-resistant cover sits where doors meet the lift column.
- Full-length coverage with the 24" pad (2" thick, 18.75" wide, 24" tall), so a door edge meets foam, not metal.
- Compatible with DoorJammer: a replacement pad option if your lifts already use DoorJammer.
Where to place them
Mount the pads on the lift columns at the height where doors open, on both columns of each 2-post lift. Body-on repairs with doors opening on the lift usually call for full-length 24" pads. Where you only need coverage over part of the column, the 12" set of two (each 2" x 18.75" x 12") does the job.
Install and care
Each pad comes with a pre-applied Scotch 300LSE high-strength adhesive backing that attaches it to the hoist (the foam pad itself is not adhesive). No tools needed. Wipe the oil-resistant cover down as part of normal shop cleanup.
